About Us
Warrego Metal Works is a vehicle body manufacturing business located in Roma, Queensland.
Established officially in Early 2018 we quickly stepped up the ladder, providing a sound foundation of
quality workmanship and attention to detail. We now employ multiple persons and utilize local
services and suppliers. We believe in supporting the local economy as we manufacture products we
are proud of. It’s locals that support our small business, so we like to do the same. It’s Australian
made, Australian owned for us!
Our main products that we offer are Ute trays. However, we also manufacture truck trays,
customized cattle crates, horse crates, 4.5t + ATM semi trailers and 4.5T and below Trailers(Rover
approved)
- UTE TRAYS
Warrego Metal Works has been producing our hand made steel ute
trays for a number of years now. Our design is based on a proven
concept of simplicity and reliability, following that of trays that are
much older than our business.
Features
• 75mm Parallel Flange Channel (PFC) mounts with 6mm foot plate
• 75mm RHS Main tray rails
• 50mm SHS Crossmembers
• 33.7mm OD Pipe tie off rails
• 3mm Checker plate floor standard(2.1 mm offered for weight
saving)
• Fully welded floor perimeter up to 50mm above kick rails
• Over-centre spring loaded tray side latches and welded on heavy
duty hinges
• Powdercoating
With a proven design ticked off, we have added our own, Warrego Metal Works
original modern touches which include:
• Laser cut 3mm plate side profile that wraps the tie rail and 50x25 RHS kick rail- making a very
rigid tray perimeter
• Laser cut rear tail board constructed from 3mm plate
• Recessed number plate mounting with flush mounted number plate illumination
• Maxilamp LED taillights combined with plug and play adapters for 99% of Vehicle makes.
• 3” pipe headboard and laser cut 3mm mesh standard (Pipe crossbars can be optioned in place
of mesh)
• Single piece double flared mudguards-Individual piece muduards on request only
